Melisa Bodur born in 1996 in Istanbul, grew up in a german community.
In 2015, after her Abitur, she moved to Germany. In 2016, she started Communication Design studies at the Hochschule Rhein Main in Wiesbaden. There she gained passion and interest for Film and Animation.
2019 she explored the South Korean Culture in Seoul.
March 2021, she was back to her hometown in Istanbul and worked for the Filmproduction of Nuri Bilge Ceylan.
