"We built a Totem" is a project with the main goal of visualizing music. It is an experimental mix out of 3D and 2D animation in a symbiotic harmony with the beat-mashup of the dubstep group Bulldogs.
18th November 2021, it was screened at the Hessischer Hochschulfilmtag in Kassel at the Kasseler Dokfest.
14th of February 2022, it was screened at the Berlinale with Hessen Talents 2022.
16th of November 2022, it was screened at the "Musik für Stummfilme" Event from the HfMDK where the music was new interpretated by the music student Valentin Michel.
Kindly, the singer and songwriter Idil Mese recorded a vocal part for us, which we added to the original Bulldogs mashup track, ensuring that we have obtained the necessary permissions and licenses to use copyrighted material.
